Contribute to the knowledge of the people in our community by:
- assisting with Legacy Tours
- conducting research on various topics for curriculum development
- assisting with community activities
- developing new educational displays
Laboratory and Curation Facility (details)
Contribute to the preservation of history by helping:
- rehabilitate the packaging of older collections
- organize and stabilize the archival records
- production of collections-wide searchable inventory database
Learn:
- about the history and prehistory of Texas and North America
- proper techniques for documenting archaeological collections through inventory and cataloging
- appropriate methods of cleaning and stabilizing artifact collections
- techniques used for analyzing different types of artifacts
