Staff members from the Center, as well as students from the Department of Anthropology at UTSA, are involved with a variety of research initiatives focused on documenting and exploring Texas archaeology.  The research interests range from climate reconstruction to experimental research on projectile weaponry. They cover all temporal periods, including the Historic era, and while concentrated in Central and South Texas, several of the initiatives involve much of the state.
